Crochet cushion

This cushion pattern featured in Simply Crochet magazine’s issue 31.  I loved it but knew the colours wouldn’t work in my home. So I looked at what colours I had in my stash and realised I could make one to match our bedding. So here it is!

Crocheted peacock

A couple of weeks ago I had to (yes, had to!) pop down to Toft Alpaca to get the latest book. Edwards menagerie birds. And instead of choosing an easy one to start with I decided to make the stash buster peacock.

It was a little fiddly at times and yes, I did get fed up making the tail feathers, but he’s finished and I rather like him.

New darcy

Two years ago I made this Debbie Bliss Darcy dress and finished it on honeymoon. It was a little big and then I’ve gone and lost two dress sizes so it’s enormous. But I loved it. So this summer I ordered more yarn and made the smallest size. Blinking love it!
